Amir Zulkefle
NCAS Level 1

Amir Zulkefle started riding at the age of 9 years old. At 13, he was selected to attend Bukit Jalil Sports School in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After leaving school in 2003, Amir travelled to Australia to train with two times Olympic riders George and Rachael Sanna. On returning to Malaysia in 2006, Amir was selected to represent his country in a borrowed horse CSI* in India, where as part of the three day event team, won team gold.

 

Also in 2006, Amir represented his country again at the Doha Asian Games in Qatar. In 2007, Amir formed part of the Malaysian three day event team that won the team silver medal at the SEA Games in Thailand, and also took the Individual bronze medal.

 

After spending 2008 training in Europe, Amir began his teaching career in 2009, passing his NCAS Intro Level coaching exams. In 2010, Amir successfully completed his NCAS Level 1 General and Dressage Specialist qualification.
